I’m all about shorter keystrokes and less clicks to get the result, so here is a Kajabi feature that I REALLY wanted, the ability to search comments. But, did it really do everything I was hoping for?
Right now, when you are in your admin dashboard and looking at your list of content pages under the “Content” tab, you’ll see that the last column shows the number of comments on each page.
Technically, this shows the number of comments that are approved (the 9 comments) and the number of comments that are NOT approved (the red 6).
However, if you were to click on that red six it doesn’t do anything. You would THINK that if you clicked on it, it would bring you to a page that would list those 6 comments that are not approved, right?
Kajabi recently added on a “search” feature to their comment moderation page (THANK YOU!!)..the downfall? That search function still doesn’t help with identifying those six unapproved comments.
I tried the logical “search”to find those comments by entering the title of the content page to see just those comments.
Result? A blank page.. double
So, for now, it still means that you need to go back to your comment moderation page and search one by one for those individual comments through the “non-approved comment” filter.
Unless, I’m missing something.. I’d love to hear if anyone’s had a different experience.
p.s. just to be clear, I’m still very excited about the comment search box addition since I do use that a lot
